SUNFLOWER BY CANDLELIGHT

Fellow artist and friend Kay Falkenhagen came up with the original concept for this painting. I made some changes to her concept to give it a more masculine look, including changing the candle holder and adding different leaves and colors to the vase and tabletop.  Without her help, this feeble attempt at my first still life wouldn’t have turned out nearly as well as it did.  Thank you, Kay.
