Canvas Specifications
We use Fredrix 901GSJ Encore Gloss Canvas, a premium choice for those seeking a high-quality, high-value gloss canvas. This canvas is a poly/cotton blend, constructed with a 2-over-1 weave, and is specifically engineered to produce beautiful prints when used with the latest solvent, eco-solvent, latex, and UV-curable inks. The Fredrix 901GSJ Encore Gloss Canvas offers a wide color gamut, exceptional Dmax (deep blacks), and a consistent, subtle texture, making it ideal for professional giclee printing applications.
Ink Specifications
Our printers utilize UltraChrome GS3 HD inks, renowned for their wide and rich color gamut. This feature allows us to achieve precise color fidelity, closely matching the original photography and artwork. During the giclee printing process, these inks are sprayed onto the canvas with exceptional detail and vibrancy, resulting in images that are both sharp and visually striking. Tested by Wilhelm Research, these lightfast archival inks are designed to last over 100 years. In the context of giclee printing, "lightfast" refers to the ink's ability to withstand direct sunlight and resist fading, ensuring the longevity and durability of the printed artwork.
