ONE TO BURY, ONE TO HANG

This was the first of the U.S. Marshal series.  It was originally commissioned by the Director of the U.S. Marshal Service to commemorate the agencies bicentennial and was made part of the traveling Smithsonian display around the country.  It has been on permanent display at the USMS headquarters ever since. Reproductions are proudly displayed in majority of U.S. Marshal’s offices from New York to Guam and has become a nationally recognized symbol of the agency.
